MAP: Favourite Places in Malmö

TO ME, MALMÖ FEELS LIKE A HOLIDAY CITY - THERE ARE LOTS OF PARKS, BENCHES, WOODEN PLATFORMS OVERLOOKING THE SEA AND A VERY CALM ATMOSPHERE THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL/WESTERN AREA. I ONLY SPENT ONE FREEZING COLD DAY THERE IN WINTER WHEN I CAME BY TRAIN FROM COPENHAGEN (WITH MY BIKE). AS I WAS FREEZING, I STOPPED TWICE IN THE VERY COSY LIBRARY AND VISITED PLACES THAT WERE CLOSE TO EACH OTHER.

I collected all my favourite places and created a “Google My Maps” with tourist attractions, parks and my favourite viewpoints. I only included places that I would visit (again). All the photos you see on the map are mine - taken on this day (March 2024).

  • I’m more of a nature girl than a city girl

  • I prefer contemporary and modern over older works (art, architecture…)

  • I like winter bathing and everything that has to do with the sea

  • I’m a big fan of photography
