Nut Butter - Almonds

To get the purest taste of the almonds, put them on a baking tray and roast them in the oven: 175°C, 10 minutes.

Right after taking them out of the oven, remove the almonds from the baking tray and let them cool in another bowl.

Blend the almonds at medium speed (so that the razor doesn’t make empty turns). Be patient. With my blender it takes about 1 minute to get a semi-smooth texture. I like to stop here, because the butter is less liquid then.

You can add a dash of cinnamon or replace almonds with other types of nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, etc.).
